About The Grassroots League
The Grassroots League is an official League supported by Wishes Unlimited. Players organize competitive Beastieball events, and we send prizes to players who place in them!
In order for your event to be eligible for official prizes, it first needs to be certified. Your event MUST meet these basic requirements to be certified:
- Players must compete in Beastieball. They must play the video game, using in-game systems and officially released game/balance data. No custom or modded data.
- There must be a first place competitor. Prizes are distributed based on tournament placement. There can’t be ties or uncertain victors.
- Competition must be fair. Within reason, every entrant must have an equal opportunity to win the event based on their skill level.
- The event must offer free, open registration. Organizers can’t charge any entrance fee. There should be a period of at least 7 days during which players can register to join the event before it begins. Invitational or similar closed-invite events are not eligible.
- The event must have enough entrants. See below for info on the requirements for different event designations. If your event is not large enough to meet the requirements for the minimum designation, we can’t offer prizes.
- Organizers must be decent. We don’t tolerate harassment, abuse, hate speech, or bigotry. Organizers must foster an environment where all players feel welcome regardless of gender, race, religion, sexuality, etc.
We withhold the right to revoke certification from an event at any time if we find that it doesn’t meet the above requirements.

The above designations can change at any time without notice. Exceptions may be made in some circumstances.

- Please allow several days for us to respond to applications.
- If you are certified: we will honor, at minimum, the designation you are certified with, even if designation rules change later.
- Note that certification expires after 60 days.
